Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Backs US Visa Ban On Election Riggers

The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has thrown his weight behind the United States visa ban on alleged election riggers in Nigeria.

It could be recalled that the US imposed visa restrictions on some Nigerians accused of undermining democracy, noting that this was part of the action to advance democracy and tackle corruption in Nigeria.

But reacting to the ban via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, Atiku urged other “established democracies” to join the US in placing a visa ban on election riggers in Nigeria
