Following the just concluded common entranece examination at the weekend, an appeal has gone to teachers to be more dedicated while government has also been urged to take welfare of teachers as first priority.
Speaking with Royal FM correspondent who monitored the examination, the deputy coordinator for ilorin west , Zone office “D” of the quality assurance Bureau of state ministry of education and human capital development , Aransiola Janet Bola who monitored schools in ilorin with the team in ilorin west said the 2018 examination was satisfactory.
She commended the state government , the state commissioner for education and the entire staff of Quality Assurance Bureau for the success of the examination.
Some parents and teachers of Greatminds Nursery and primary school who spoke with our correspondent called on government to focus on development of education in Nigeria.
In his comment , the principal of government day junior secondary Ahmed Ahmed Tejudini advised parents and teachers to desist from exposing their children to examination malpractice at tender age as it has adverse effects on the nation.
Speaking with newsmen, the Director of Examination, State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Alhaji Abubakar Babatunde-Ahmed who said the examination took place at the four hundred and fifty Public Junior Secondary Schools across the state.He also appreciated the state Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed for providing adequate logistics for the exercise.
