One Reportedly Killed As Cultists Clash In Ilorin  

 

One person, identified as Toheeb of Ile Alagbede compound, Ajikobi area of Ilorin, was reported killed when a suspected rival cultists group invaded Omoda area of Ilorin metropolis, Kwara State capital on Sunday.

According to the information gathered, three other people also sustained injuries from the attack which was launched about 2pm amid sporadic gunshots.

Report gathered that the suspected cultists allegedly invaded the area from Gambari area, and took the life of Toheeb who could not be confirmed as a member of the cultists groups at the time of this report.

However, when contacted, the spokesman of the state police command, Okasanmi Ajayi, said “no incident of that nature had been reported, adding that efforts to get information about the incident proved abortive.
