The swearing in ceremony was held simultaneously across the thirty six state and Federal Capital Territory of the federation.
Meanwhile, as observed at the NYSC Kwara, nothing less than one thousand four hundred and seventy five Corps Members posted to the state were sworn in during the ceremony that took place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Yikpata.
The Director General in his National Address which was read by Mrs. Francisca Olaleye commended patriotism zeal demonstrated by the corps members through their acceptance of their deployment and prompt report to camp.
The Director General noted that the orientation course is the first cardinal programme of NYSC, as it is aimed at introducing them to the objective and programmes of the scheme, adding that the orientation is designed to equip them with needed training to face the tasks of the one year national service.
Present at the ceremony is the executive governor of Kwara State who was duly represented by the NYSC Kwara state coordinator, Mrs. Francisca Olaleye, the Chief Justice of the state also represented by Justice I. A. Yusuf.
