NLC’ll Work For Obi, Other Labour Party Candidates

The newly elected President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joe Ajaero has stated that the organized labour would reject any proposal by government to remove subsidy payment on premium motor spirit popularly called petrol before the Federal Government repairs the comatose refineries.

Ajaero stated these during a Channel’s Television magazine programme, ‘Hard Copy’ monitored in Lagos on Friday just as he also accused the government of gross hypocrisy regarding its position of the state of the nation’s economy.

He stated that though the congress would work assiduously for the success of the Labour Party at the forthcoming general election, members are at liberty to join any political party of their choice.
