The Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has lauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prompt payment of salaries of workers in the state.
The organized labor applauded Governor AbdulRazaq for being sensitive to the welfare of workers; particularly during festive period to enable them celebrate joyfully.
The state Chairman of NLC, Comrade Muritala Saheed Olayinka, said this in a statement issued and made available to Journalists in Ilorin today.
Comrade Olayinka noted that the report at his disposal indicated that April salaries of workers in the state including local government staff had been paid.
He commended the state government for keeping faith with the state workforce, whom he pointed out, had ensured stability in the system.
