Nig @61: Nigeria will emerge better, stronger, more united – AbdulRazaq

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated Nigerians on the 61st Independence Day anniversary, saying the country remains great and full of potentials, irrespective of its current challenges of nationhood and development.

The governor in his Independence Day statement noted that there is no pretending that Nigeria is undergoing a truly challenging phase in national development, but will emerge better, stronger, more united and prosperous as a people.

He therefore congratulated Nigerians and President Muhammadu Buhari in his efforts to curtail insecurity while fostering national peace and stability.

The Speaker, kwara state house of assembly, Right Honourable Yakubu Danladi-Salihu also congratulated Nigerians, while advocating the need for Nigerians, irrespective of race and religion to be more united and patriotic.

The Speaker in his anniversary message to Nigerians, noted that despite the current prevailing challenges bedeviling the nation, Nigeria remains the giant of Africa noting that one way to sustain the enviable status is for the citizens to be more united, eschew violence and hate.

He noted that Nigeria like other countries of the world is having her own share of challenges especially security challenges. He however added that the nation’s problems are surmountable if Nigerians renew their patriotism and unite to pursue true dreams.
