The NEW executive members of the All Progressives Congress APC in Kwara state have been inaugurated as directed by the national leadership of the party.
The new executives include the chairman of the party, Honourable Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, and the deputy chairman, Honourable Abdullahi Samari.
Rahmhat Olaide was named women leader, while Oyinloye Oyelere became the party youth leader and Folaranmi Aro became the party Public relation officer.
Speaking during the brief swearing-in ceremony in Ilorin on Saturday, the state chairman of the party, Bolarinwa advised new members of the executive in wards, local governments and state to carry along every member to move the party forward in the state.
In his remarks, a chieftain of the party, Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo admonished the party leaders to embark on reconciliation among members of the party where and when necessary to assuage identified grievances.
While describing forthcoming 2019 general elections as a crucial one in the state, Oyedepo called on them to work for the success of all representatives of APC to sustain its popularity.
