NEMA distributes drugs to Kano hospitals

As parts of efforts to support flood victims and other emergencies in Kano State, the National Emergency Management Agency has distributed drugs to four hospitals in the State.

While presenting the items, the Agency Director-General, Mustapha Habib-Ahmed, said the donation was made by Map International to the Kano hospitals.

Habib-Ahmed, represented by NEMA Coordinator, Kano and Jigawa Territorial office, Nuraddeen Abdullahi, said the donation was to complement the efforts of the Federal government in providing quality healthcare service to victims of floods, kidnapping and banditry.

He listed the benefitting hospitals to include Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Bichi General Hospital, Wudil General Hospital, and Karaye General Hospital.

Some of the items distributed included prenatal micronutrient supplement X100, knee walker, syringe; krill oil 500 milligram, eye glasses, respirator, lancet pro-care, bactine spray, disposable barrier gown and sharp collector among others.
