The National Population Commission has assured that all assets and resources already secured by the commission will be safeguarded ahead of the 2023 Population and Housing Census in the country.
Recall that former President Muhammadu Buhari postponed the Population and Housing Census initially scheduled for May 3 to a date to be determined by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking during a breakfast meeting with media executives on Friday in Abakaliki, the Federal Commissioner of NPC in Ebonyi, Darlington Okereke, said that the commission is safeguarding resources to avoid starting preparations all over again when a new date is fixed.
