Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a Brazilian prison-returnee, Okechukwu Francis Amaechi for importing twenty-four parcels of cocaine concealed in twelve tyres of lawnmowers.
It was gathered that Amaechi before being nabbed by the NDLEA at the Port Harcourt International Airport (PHIA) just finished serving a jail term for drug trafficking in the South American country.
Spokesman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Femi Babafemi confirmed that each parcel concealed in the tyres of the three lawnmowers bore some unique inscriptions, which were believed to be means of identification by owners of the drug.
The suspect , Okechukwu claimed one of his church members gave him the lawnmowers to deliver to his brother in Port Harcourt.
