National Association of Nigerian Students Wants Students Responsible For OAU Finalist’s Death Prosecuted

The National Association of Nigerian Students has called for the prosecution of students allegedly involved in the death of a 500-level student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Okoli Ahinze, who was reportedly mobbed to death for alleged theft.

The student’s body, in a statement signed by its national Public Relations Officer, Giwa Yisa Temitope, stressed that those involved in the mob action should be identified and brought to justice.

Giwa, while describing the action as shameful, stressed that the body will not relent until justice is served, frowning against the jungle justice reportedly meted on the deceased by the mob.
