The naira on Friday appreciated against the dollar at the Investors and Exporters window, after remaining constant in value for two days.
The naira exchanged at four hundred and twenty-nine naira zero five kobo (N429.05), representing an increase of zero point zero eight (0.08) per cent, compared with the four hundred and twenty-nine naira, thirty eight kobo (N429.38) it exchanged for the dollar on Thursday.
The open indicative rate closed at N428 to the dollar on Friday.
An exchange rate of four hundred and forty-four (N444) to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at four hundred and twenty-nine naira zero five kobo (N429.05).
Report gathered says, a total of fifty point two-two (50.22) million dollars was traded in foreign exchange at the official Investors and Exporters window on Friday.
