The troops of Sector 1, Multinational National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Mora Cameroon have neutralised some members of Boko Haram and ISWAP group around Kirta Wulgo and recieved eight (8) surrendered terrorists during the conduct of Operation SCORPION.
A statement by the Chief Military Public Information Officer of the Multinational National Joint Task Task Force N’Djamena, Lieutenant Colonel Kamarudeen Adegoke said the operation was conducted from 25th April to 2nd May 2023.
The operation resulted from the Sector 1, Multinational National Joint Task Force increased tempo of activities in the Lake Chad Basin Region to further degrade Boko Haram and ISWAP Terrorists enclaves at Tcholl and its surroundings.
