Muktar Shagaya Movement Commences construction of Boreholes in Ilorin West/Asa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Ilorin West and Asa Federal House Representatives, Mallam Muktar Shagaya has approved the construction of sixty boreholes for communities in Ilorin West and Asa Federal Constituency.

In a statement released by his Press Officer, Basheer LUQMAN, Shagaya said that during his engagements with various communities, a recurring issue was the lack of potable water.

He further stated that the borehole program tagged “Shagaya Water Intervention Programme” is aimed to make clean water easily accessible to the community.

However, the Ilorin West Coordinator of the movement, Abdullateef ALOHUNMATA, said the projects are in continuation of the firm’s determination to touch the lives of communities.

Reacting to the development, a member of Akuji Compound, Abayawo Area, Ojuekun/ Sarumi Ward, Musa Wapa appreciated Shagaya for coming to their aid.

In her remarks, Abdullahi Salamat expressed gratitude to Muktar Shagaya Movement, saying lack of portable water has been one major problem of the community before now.
