Mother of three who gave birth to triplet in Ilorin, husband pleads for government employment

Well-meaning Nigerians have been urged to use their resources either cash or kind to assist the needy in society as this will give them a sense of belonging.

Mr. Kehinde Akinsola, Kwara State Lead of Wellbeing Foundation Africa, a Non-Governmental Organisation NGO made the appeal on Tuesday 7th, 2023 while speaking with Royal FM staff correspondence during a charity visit to a woman who gave birth to triplets at Unilorin Teaching Hospital UITH Ilorin, Kwara State.

According to him, the aims of the foundation are to improve health outcomes for women, children, and infants, from birth to age, maternal care, and the welfare of newborn babies under the Mama care program introduced by the organization to support pregnant mothers and nursing mothers.

“Wellbeing Foundation under the mama care class focuses more on the welfare of the mother and the newborn babies and campaigns against maternal death and we have spread our tentacles to Ilorin and its environs. he said

Akinsola who reiterated that not less than 13 health facilities are currently benefiting from the program added that the NGO which is a Non-Profitable and Non-Partisan organization was established some years ago.

During his chat with our correspondence, the father of the triplets Akintola David, age forty who is also an event photographer asked for the support from government and Well-meaning individuals to take care of the newborn.

Meanwhile, the mother of the triplets Mrs. Ebunoluwa Akintola age thirty-six said the only support she needs from the government is a good job for her and her husband.

“for me, I don’t need to request more support because it’s only God that can send helper, I believe if my husband and I can secure a job from the government and individual we will take care of the triplets together with the remaining children, had already given birth to three children a child as the first, sets of twins as the second born and the new triplets making eight children altogether, she lamented.

The three babies are doing fine I gave them breasts not long but they refused to allow my husband to get inside to see his babies due to the norm that guides the operation on the facility, Ebunoluwa stressed.

Speaking earlier, Madam Olarewaju Arogun midwife with Wellbeing Foundation Africa and one of the Mamacare midwives in the foundation said the mother of the triplets is a member of Mamacare class affirming that the class is purposely for pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Cash of Two Hundred Thousand Naira and numerous baby gifts were given to the couples by the NGO to take care of the newborn babies.
