Mogaji urges emir, security agencies to prevail on political thugs in Kwara

The residents of Aiyelabegan Compound in Agbaji District of Okemale Area in Ilorin has called on the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and the various security agencies in Kwara state to call political parties to order to stop causing crises in the state.

The appeal was made by the Mogaji of Aiyelebagan compound Alhaji Sulyman Oba Aiyelabegan while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin. He alleged that the compound was attacked on Thursday 10th of January by supporters of Bukola Saraki who live in the area saying the thugs insisted that everyone must support Saraki.

He said that people of Ile Aiyelabegan have the right to hold political views of there choice and should not be coerced to be supporters of anybody against it’s wish.

According to him, the Senate President sister Gbemisola saraki is a notable member of the Saraki family belongs to the APC, party of President Mohammadu Buhari, so everyone has the right to belong to any party.

It would be recalled that the Senate President had earlier said that APC attacked his supporters did not attack APC members saying that APC attacked them during APC rally.
