The Turaki of Ilorin, and All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has expressed shock over the sudden death of Justice Safiya Titi Daibu. The depressing news of her passing filtered through in the early hours of today.
According to a statement he personally signed, Mallam Saliu Mustapha commiserated with the entire Justice sector and the harmonious people of Kwara State over the painful loss.
Similarly, the Turaki of Ilorin described the death of the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi as shocking and painful, not just because of its suddenness but also because Kwara state has lost one of the builders and major contributor to the growth and development of the state educational sector.
Mustapha added that Nigeria has lost an erudite scholar of international standing and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the soul of the deceased and grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
