Legislative Watch: People’s Magazine honours Kwara Must Change

A leading pro-democracy group, Kwara Must Change has won the Kwara People Magazine Award of excellence.

Speaking on the reason behind the award, publisher of Kwara People’s Magazine, Mr. Abdul-hameed Oladipupo Alli (Mr Nigeria) observed that Kwara Must Change has demonstrated her penchant for good governance and sustainable democracy with her various intervention including the recently presented Legislative Watch Report.

The publisher added that, with what Kwara Must Change is doing in Kwara State, he is sure that the sky is not the limit but a starting point.

Receiving the honour on behalf of Kwara Must Change is the coordinator of Women Wing, Mopelola AbdulMaliq-Bashir, who thanked the publisher and the entire team for finding the group worthy of the award.

In her word “what Kwara Must Change is doing is just a bit of what she has in stock in assisting our nascent democracy to work in the interest of the masses”.

Mopelola also advised the publisher and his team to ensure that the magazine strives to maintain a balance in its reportage in the best interest of Kwarans whose interest the magazine is promoting.
