Lai Mohammed urges Nigerians not to vote for looters come 2019

The minister of information and culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed has called on Nigerians not to vote for the people who have the mind of looting the nation’s treasury and lavish the forty-seven billion dollars foreign reserve that has been built by the current administration despite the fall in the price of crude oil when the All Progressive Congress, APC, assumed office.

Speaking with newsmen today on the occasion of Eld-el-kabir celebration in his home town Oro, Kwara State, Mohammed appealed to Nigerians to take decisive decision come 2019 by re-voting the APC. He added that Nigerians can see that the current administration has done greatly in the area of Agriculture, road construction, power, water, corruption and social intervention among others.

Mohammed explained that the government has constructed seven-hundred-and-fifty-kilometer road network adding that Nigerians now enjoy stable power supply as a result of over seven thousand Megawatts that has been generated by the federal Government as against 2690 megawatts it met in 2015. He said any government that has been able to fix the power sector has the development of nation at heart.

The minister called on kwarans not to be deceived by some politicians who now believe in using social media as a fighting instrument against the president.
