The kwara state police command has called on parents searching for any young lady to visit the homicide section of kwara state police command, CID to identify a corpse for possible release.
The call is coming following the discovery of a yet to be identified lady, who was found dead at an hotel in Adewole area, Ilorin on the 28th of May, 2021.
In a statement signed by the kwara state police public relation officer Ajayi Okasanmi , the supervisor of the hotel, Olalekan Anafi, reported that one Adegboye James of number 12, Okelowo Street, Ede, Osun state, lodged at the hotel.
According to the supervisor , the said Adegboye James went out and came back with one lady and the later checked out of the hotel without the knowledge of any of the staff of the hotel.
Anafi said the management used a spare key to open the room occupied by the lodger when nothing was heard from the room, where they found the dead body of the lady.
Okasanmi said investigation into the case is already ongoing as directed by the commissioner of police, kwara state, Mohammed Lawal Bagega to arrest the lodger whose name and phone number he filled in the hotel log book was found to be fake.
