Labour Party rejects Rivers results, seeks cancellation

The leadership of Labour Party (LP) has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel all the unverified and manipulated results from the presidential and National Assembly elections in parts of Rivers state.

The party urged INEC to cancel election results from Obio/Akpor, Khana, Eleme, Obigbo and Rumukoro amongst others.

The Nation newspaper reports that  the party said this in a statement signed by its National Chairman, Julius Abure on Sunday in Abuja.
