KWASU debunks job recruitment

The Kwara State University, KWASU, has dissociated itself from an advert claiming that the institution is recruiting.

A statement by Abdulrazaq Sanni, Director, University Relations, KWASU, in Ilorin on Friday, described the report on a blog as fake and asked the general public to disregard it.

The statement reads, “The attention of the Management of Kwara State University has been drawn to the advert making the rounds in numerous social media platforms about an advertisement on a purported recruitment of academic staff into the university.

“This was published by a blogger, naijaschool.com.ng on Thursday, 23rd September, 2021.

“The Management of KWASU dissociates itself completely from this fake advertisement by a faceless blogger and states emphatically that at no time did the institution employ the services of this blogger to help publish such advertisement.

“Hence, no recruitment advert for lecturers or any staff was solicited by the university.

“We also want to alert the unsuspecting public to beware of scammers, especially at this period of admission processing, as it concerns the University.

“The general public can confirm any suspicious news or information about the University by logging on to our website on www.kwasu.edu.ng .”
