Kwara State Ministry of Planning and Economic Development set to commence citizens engagement on 2023 budget preparation exercise

Kwara State Ministry of Planning and Economic Development is set to commence the citizens engagement on 2023 budget preparation exercise across the three Senatorial Districts in the State.

The town hall engagement is geared towards harvesting the views, opinions and desires of the people on their preferred projects for inclusion in the 2023 budget in order to improve their livelihood.

According to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Yaqub Jaja the citizens engagement rendezvous will be flagged off in the Kwara Central Senatorial District by the Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the 29th of June at Wara in Ilorin West Local Government Secretariat.

The Town Hall meeting for Kwara North will hold at Edu Local Government Secretariat, Lafiaji on 7th of July; while for Kwara South, it will be  held at Share, Ifelodun LG Secretariat on the 14th of July 2022.
