Kwara state government urges contractor to accelerate work on Ilesha-Gwanara Road

The Kwara State commissioner for Works  and Transport, Alh Aro Yahaya has urged the contractor handling Ilesha Gwanara road project to speed up construction work.

The commissioner made this statement during an inspection visit to the construction site at Kilometer ten, Ilesha-Gwanara road.

He added that presently, the contractor had surface-dressed 10km and directed that an additional 6km surface dressing should be ready by December 2018, in line with the work programme.

The Permanent Secretary of the ministry Alh. Yusuf Garba Manjo who delivered the message on behalf of the commissioner, advised the contractor to take advantage of the dry season to speed up the construction work in order to deliver the project on schedule.
