Kwara Sport Festival: AbdulRasaq visits stadium, impressed by performance

 

The Governor, Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaqa has expressed happiness over the excitement generated by the ongoing Kwara Sport festival.

He said the turn out and enthusiasm by Kwarans is a testimony that the decision to revive the sports festival 15 years after was not misplaced.

AbdulRasaq stated this Wednesday evening after he joined fellow Kwarans at the ongoing 7th Kwara Sports Festival at Kwara State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.  

The Governor said he was quite impressed with the talents on display and expressed belief that if given the right support as indicated in the 2020 budget, sport and sporting talents will excel in Kwara.

AbdulRasaq who spent time to watch some of the live games alongside top government functionaries, wished the various contingents from across the state all the best in the various contests.
