Kwara Residents Eager For Official Declaration Of Presidential Election

Following the Saturday presidential election in Nigeria, the residents of Kwara state are in great expectance of the official declaration of the president elect by the independent national electoral commission.

The residents while explaining their plights concerning the economy hardships with newsmen stated that they are expecting a new change in the economic situation of Nigeria when the president elect is inaugurated into the office.

Speaking with RoyalFM correspondent, Opeyemi Akeredolu, a trader who pleaded to be anonymous said he is looking forward to the new president to tackle the issue of insecurity which has made Nigeria to live in fear while another trader said she is looking forward to solutions to the scarcity of fuel in the nation at large.

However, Oluwasegun said, he wants the new government to continue on the cashless policy laid down by President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that the cashless policy as reduced the rate at which people spend money on things that are not necessary and that the cashless policy has helped a lot of Nigerians on how to save their money for better days.
