KWARA PDP YOUTHS LAUD PARTY LEADERSHIP, SARAKI

written by Taiwo Adediran September 30, 2021
KWARA PDP YOUTHS LAUD PARTY LEADERSHIP, SARAKI

The Kwara Peoples Democratic Party Youth Wing has commended Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the Kwara State branch of the Party for creating an enabling environment for youth and women to participate in the leadership process of the PDP.

Reading the speech of the youth wing at a press briefing, the coordinator of the group, Nurudeen Muhammed expressed their support for the party by striving to build the largest network of young eligible voters across the State.

They also saluted Bukola Saraki for the role played by recommending sundry privileges including the 30% leadership concession/inclusion for youth and women in the new composition of the PDP party executives positions in Kwara.

They also commended Saraki for fulfilling the promise of inclusiveness of youths and women in the recently concluded PDP Ward Congresses across the 193 political wards in Kwara State.

They also appreciated the then Senate President for his role in the passage of the ‘Not Too Young to Run Bill’ while holding sway as Senate President of Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 8th National Assembly.

According to the youth wing, the outcome of last weekend PDP Ward Congresses across the 193 Wards in Kwara State, have clearly reflected the promised 30% youth and women inclusion in party leadership.

They noted that the congress was rancor free and peaceful across the state.

They thereafter presented a letter of respect and honour to the State Chairman, Engr Kola Shittu which is to be presented to Dr Bukola Saraki.
