Kwara organized labour congratulates AbdulRazaq wants to  him prioritize workers’ welfare

The Joint Kwara Labour Congress has congratulated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State on his victory in the governorship election, describing it as an attestation to a load of accomplishments of his administration.

The organized labour noted that it particularly took delight with the re-election of the Governor because it ensured that the wishes of the people prevailed.

This was contained in a joint statement issued in Ilorin today by the Chairman, state Council of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Muritala Saheed Olayinka; his counterpart in Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Joseph Tunde; and state Chairman, Joint Negotiation Council (JNC) Comrade Saliu Oluwole Suleiman.

Acknowledging the Implementation of N30,000 minimum wage and its consequential adjustment components for state workers,Royal Times reportes that  the labour movement urged the Governor not to relapse.

The organized labour appealed to Governor AbdulRazaq to sustain priority accorded workers’ welfare in his second coming and implored him to take concrete steps on the outstanding labour issues with a view to maintaining the symbiotic relationship between the government and labour union.

The joint labour congress assured the Governor of its commitment to support his administration so as to create industrial harmony and stability in state the workforce.
