Abdul-lateef Lanre Ahmed Campaign Team has been inaugurated ahead of the forthcoming July 10th Kwara Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) elections.
The inauguration took place at the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara Ilorin.
In his remark, State Chairmanship Candidate, Mr Abdul-lateef Lanre Ahmed of The Herald Chapel promised to work on his newly designed blueprint to change the narrative of NUJ towards salvaging the system.
Mr Ahmed pledged to run inclusive union to put an end to godfatherism as the members of the union have been disenchanted by the current leadership of the state Council
In his speech, Director General, Abdul-lateef Lanre Ahmed Campaign Team, Mr Gbenga Ishola of State Information Chapel charged members of the Campaign group to employ a team work to achieve success
Mr Ishola said the Campaign Team would not make use of pull him down syndrome as campaign strategy but issue based in all its campaign activities.
In his submission, Chairman NUJ, Radio Kwara Chapel, Alhaji Bashir Ademola-Jimoh assured Abdul-lateef Lanre Ahmed and his campaign team of bloc votes and prayed for their victory in the NUJ poll.
Also Speaking, an Ilorin based Broadcaster, Alhaji Abdullahi Adisa-Akodudu admonished Abdul-lateef Lanre Ahmed campaign group to be focused to attract genuine support and votes from NUJ members across the state.
