The Nomadic/Fulani communities in the seven Local Government Areas of Kwara South have pledged their unalloyed allegiance and support for the President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
Speaking on behalf of the groups, the Chairman Kwara South Nomadic/Fulani Community, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammadu, said although, they are Fulani by tribe and birth, but Dr Saraki identifies with them and has always come to their aid all year round.
While condemning acts of injustice and victimization, Muhammadu lauded the Senate President for his purposeful leadership trait and his courage for the unity of the country despite alleged political persecutions.
The groups also applauded the Senator representing Kwara South, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, for his various strides and his responsiveness to the plights of Nomadic/Fulani Communities in the seven Local Government Areas under his Senatorial District. They thereafter declared their support for Senator Rafiu and his Leader, Dr Saraki come 2019.
Senator Ibrahim who hosted the people at his personal residence, donated two tricycles, seven motorcycles, seven deep freezers, twenty bags of rice and cash donations to them. He also sponsored a beneficiary to Hajj.
