Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on Thursday received the Human Capital Development Advocate (HCDA) Award at the awards ceremony organized by the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara state council, in Ilorin. Represented by his deputy, Kayode Alabi, while giving his acceptance speech, noted that the award would serve as a tonic for his administration to do more and strengthen his commitment to making Kwara work for all.
Giving his goodwill message, a member of the Kwara state House of Assembly, who represents Omupo state constituency, Honorable AGF Salahudeen , said the governor has done creditably well with regard to positively impacting the lives of residents and citizens of Kwara state while urging support for his re-election bid.
Salahudeen , who emphasized importance of journalism in the society ,also commended journalists in the state for giving current and relevant information and news to the public.
