Kwara Governor Charges Labour Unions, Calls For Collaboration For Seamless Transition Of Power

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has charged labour unions across the country to work for a seamless transition of governments following the just concluded general elections in Nigeria.

He also appealed to the unions to give full support to the president-elect, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the state government.

In his remarks during the May Day celebration on Monday, Governor Abdulrazaq said his administration will continue to prioritise the welfare of workers and protect the interest of labour unions, acknowledging their support before and during the last general elections.

Meanwhile, Madu Thomas, a retired worker at the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), advised workers to evaluate and access themselves while working.

Also speaking with RoyalFM correspondent, Saheed Abdul Fatai who is a pharmacist called for workers to work diligently and politely.
