In an attempt to improve the welfare of Kwara citizens, the Kwara Government has planned to seek partnership with Philanthropist and corporate bodies within and outside the state.
Speaking at the Eta’am food Basket 2022 project, organised by Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home, the King Salman Humanitarian aid and relief centre, the Deputy Governor, Kayode Alabi commended the philanthropic home for the gesture and reiterated the commitment of the government to seek partnership with corporate bodies and philanthropist to improve the welfare of Kwarans.
The vice president, special duty of Abibakr As-Sidiq Philanthropic Home, Hajia Fatima Yunusa Gada who spoke on behalf of the President, Mallam Abdulrazzaq Ibrahim Salman said the project has been flagged off in three states, Abuja, Kano, and Kwara, adding that credit should be given to King Salman Bin Abdulaziz for organizing the Eta’am Food Basket Project to feed the world.
She said the Philanthropic Home is humbled to be part of this Project, which will impact on the lives of 13800 people in Nigeria with the provisions of one hundred and thirty eight tonnes of food items, comprises of 25 Kilogram of rice and Beans, Semolina, Salt, Vegetable oil.
