Justice Abiodun Ayodele Adebara has been screened and confirmed as the substantive Chief Judge of Kwara State by the State House of Assembly. His confirmation was considered at the Committee of Whole Chaired by the Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Salihu on the floor of the House
Responding to questions from lawmakers, Justice Adebara who promised to always ensure speedy dispensation of Justice in the State also pledged healthy working relationship with the three arms of government to move the state forward.
Meanwhile, the Kwara State House of Assembly has instructed Acting Grand Khadi, Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal, Ilorin Justice Abdul-lateef Kamaldeen to appear before the House for screening tomorrow on the floor of the House at Ten O’clock in the Morning.
This followed a Message from the Governor, requesting screening and confirmation of Justice Kamaldeen as Grand Khadi of the State, addressed to Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Salihu and read before his colleagues during today’s plenary.
As reported by our senior correspondent Olarotimi Oshin, the Speaker therefore directed Justice Abdul-lateef Kamaldeen to submit Thirty-five copies of his Credentials to the Clerk of office before close of work today.
