Kwara APC Secretary, Mustapha Isowo suspended for alleged fraudulent diversion of funds ,gross misconduct

The executive committee of APC of Alanamu Central Ward in Ilorin West Local Government have suspended the state secretary of the party Alhaji Mustapha Salman Isowo, from the party for gross misconduct and what it called fraudulent diversion of funds meant for the Ward for his personal use.

The suspension was sequel to a vote of no confidence passed on him by the executive of his political Ward, Alanamu Central, on February 12th, 2023 where he was subsequently suspended.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Alanamu central ward chairman, Alhaji Muyideen Ikolaba, Secretary, Rafiu Onigbegi and other executive members, in which a copy was made available to the pressmen in Ilorin after its emergency meeting.

The statement informed that there have been a series of protests against the personality of Alhaji Mustapha Salman Isowo, in Alanamu central Ward over how he has been allegedly  diverting monthly allowance, palliative items and other funds meant for the Alanamu central party members.

“Other offences the statement informed are frequent dropping of kwara governor’s name to advance his selfish and alleged greedy agenda.

The statement emphasised that the entire members of Alanamu ward are completely loyal to the party APC under the able leadership of prince Sunday Fagbemi and thier performing governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The statement the accused directed to refund all the money and materials he has collected on behalf of the ward within seven days and to tender unreserved apology to the ward, otherwise further punitive measures will be taken against him.
