Kwara APC denies being sponsors of violence, accuses PDP, state government of mischief

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Kwara State chapter has distanced itself from reports alleging the party and its leaders of planning and sponsoring mayhem in the state, just as it called on law enforcement agents to spring into action towards unraveling those behind the unholy act.

In a statement signed by the party caretaker committee chairman in Kwara state, Honourable Bashir Bolarinwa, the party in turn accused the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the state government of being behind the plot in a bid to restore the confidence already lost to the people.

The Kwara state APC while accusing desperate politicians seeking power at all costs of being behind the act, explained that such politicians in Kwara are kitting thugs with APC inscribed vests with the aim of labeling the party as trouble makers.

While also alleging the sponsors of making huge money in fomenting trouble, the Bolarinwa-led APC called on security agents to unravel those behind the plot. It also admonished the public to disregard such report and renewed its pledge to end acts of impunity in Kwara.
