Kwara APC Campaign Council praises journalists on balance reportage, says Abdulrasaq is set for better development

Kwara APC Campaign Council praises journalists on balance reportage, says Abdulrasaq is set for better development
The Campaign Council of the Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said the administration of Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq is better prepared to deliver when given a second mandate, riding on the achievements and the collaborative efforts of the media in ensuring a consistence and balanced reportage.

Addressing journalists during a Media Parley for the Re-Election Campaign of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Spokesperson of the APC Campaign Council Honourable Mrs. Oyeyemi Olasumbo Florence who appreciated journalists in the state all for their  support, called for continuing collaboration for the re-election of the governor come 2023.

According to her, the feedback so far from journalists  has been balanced and objective, free of guile and bile and for the collectively beneficial and progressive purpose of democracy.

While speaking on slogan of the Kwara state chapter of the people democratic party , the spoke person said the PDP are tired of the progress made by the APC in just four years in office.

She added with the new slogan of the APC “MA A SE LO”. The civil servants  now get their salaries just as revenue is being committed to the task of developing the state through tangible investment in infrastructural projects that will build a sustainable and working system for all Kwara.

In his remarks the Director general of the Campaign Council , Yahaya Seriki who is chieftain of APC said the APC will win the election with grand style.
” Naturally, the PDP is tired, but we cannot sympathise with them and everything unholy, tyrannical and retrogressive they represent.
“We understand the importance of feedback in a democracy and have decided to therefore host this media parley to interact and get feedback on our activities, policies and achievements in office and to further seek your support in the coverage of our re-election campaigns.
” We seek your support because we know that the opposition works in the shadows, and they have contrived to bring darkness upon Kwara. Truly, the dark places of this world are the habitations of cruelty.
We remember the iron hand they ruled the state with and the undemocratic way they stifled free speech and insulted those who dared speak the truth against them. We cannot forget the speed and haste with which they contemplated retrenchment instead of better welfare packages for the state’s workers.
We also know you remember that they have adopted a policy of disturbing the peace and bawling when they do not get their way in governance.
They have been reported to the police for inciting the public against the government by perpetually laying on a false allegation of fraud, the monumental kind of fraud which expertise is their specialty in reserve. Let the media kindly school them by informing them on the differences between criticising the government and inciting the public against the government, for they have simply been unteachable as far as we have tried.
” You have been vehement and unwavering in your support for the consolidation and entrenchment of accountability and democracy. You have also scrutinised, with your objective reporting, our administration and this is boundlessly invaluable to us. I must also commend for the efforts you have continually put into your duties when it concerns this administration. I urge you all to devote more commitment as we commence our campaigns, and you can bank on my support.
