The candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC) Alhaji Abdulrasaq Abdulrahaman and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barrister Razaq Atunwa were conspicuously absent on the occasion.

According to Chairman, KWACOBPA, Dr Ahmed Raji, the aim of the debate was to afford the people of the state to pick candidate of their choice while the flag bearers will use the avenue to unveil their agenda as contained in their manifestoes.
