Kidnapped Children Reportedly Escape Terrorist Den In Kwara

Two children who were reportedly abducted after gunmen reportedly killed their father, Alfa Tunde Aribidesi, at their residence at Gaa Osibi in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, have reportedly escaped from the den of their abductors.

Tunde, a trader at Ojatuntun, Baboko, Ilorin, was reportedly killed on Thursday the 29th of September 2022.

His children, Jamiu a 12-year-old and Sambo aged 15, were taken away, as the kidnappers demanded ten million naira for their release.

The two children, however, reportedly escaped on Sunday night after their abductors slept off in the forest.

According to a medical doctor who confirmed the development spoke anonymously and added that the two kids were in his hospital.

Meanwhile, a friend of the deceased, Alfa Lawal Taoheed, had on Facebook solicited prayers for the safe return of the kids while negotiation was ongoing with the kidnappers.

The Kwara Police Public Relation Relation Officer, SP Ajayi Okasanmi, while speaking with RoyalFM Correspondent Olarotimi Oshin said the report was not reported to any police station in the state.
