Keep Quiet – Ohanaeze tells Mbaka

The coordinating Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the seven Igbo speaking states, Elder Chris Eluemunor has told the fiery Catholic priest, Rev’d Fr. Ejike Mbaka to shut his mouth and stop distracting the good works of President Muhammadu Buhari with prophesies that the President’s life was in danger.Ohaneze

He stressed that rather than raise unnecessary alarm and create panic in the polity, the president of Ohanaeze in Anambra state advise that the Catholic priest should keep revelations he receives to himself and pray over it.

The Igbo leader who spoke at a media briefing in Awka, the Anambra state capital, yesterday stressed that contrary to Mbaka’s prophecy, President Buhari, as the Commander-in-Chief, was in safe hands as the Ohanaeze was in full support of the good work he is doing by fighting corruption.

“Fr. Mbaka should really shut up and preach the word of God which he was ordained to do than raising unnecessary alarm and creating panic in the country. Even if a revelation was given to him, he should keep it to himself and pray over it. Fr Mbaka’s statement is a distraction to what the President is doing and he should stop the kind of alarm he is raising in the country,” he said.

The Ohanaeze chieftain said Nigerians should realise that it was no longer business as usual in the country and expressed optimism that with the way Mr. President was going, sanity will soon return to the country resulting in financial probity and restoration in the decline of economic fortunes.

He, however, cautioned the President to ensure that the anti-corruption crusade have human face and also fought within the ambit of the law.
