Jebba Residents chastise Kwara Deputy Gov. over refusal to pay homage to King
Residents of Jebba  Community in Moro Local Government Area  of the state have chastised Kwara state  Deputy governor  Kayode Alabi over his refusal to pay a traditional homage when he visited the community.
The Deputy Governor who was in the community on Monday to sympathize with the people of the area over the recent flooding that destroyed properties  was said to have refused to visit the palace of the Oba of Jebba to pay Homage  which drew anger from youths in the area .
Reacting to the visit, Jebba youths frowned at the deputy governor over the refusal of the governor to recognize the traditional ruler in the area even as some  residents who spoke to newsmen said  it is the second time  the Abdulraham Abdulrasaq led-administration had visited  the area and subsequently ignore  the traditional ruler.
The visibly angry youths also alleged that the development may not be unconnected to their refusal in Moro to belong to the Emirates.
The angry youths also attacked the lawmaker representing lawan/Ejidongari constituency, Hon. Bello John Olarewaju, with stones hauled at his vehicle.
