JAMB set to inaugurate transparency bulletin

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says it is set to commence the publication of a bulletin of its financial activities to the public for the purpose of transparency. The Head of Media and Information of the board, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in Lagos today said that the bulletin, which will be known as “Jambulletin”, will be published every Monday and will not be for sale.

He said this is in compliance with President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration’s directive to full disclosure of all financial transactions in the public sector, in line with his transparency agenda.

Benjamin, however, added that the board will soon commence its 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration scheduled for the tenth of January.
