Jagunlabi foundation holds annual kiddies party, doles out cash, gift items

 

As part of activities to lighten up the New Year celebration, the Jagunlabi foundation organized an Annual kiddies party at Osi central playing ground for kids and elderly people alike.

The party was to help fun seekers unwind from the stress of past days, witnessed featured games, dancing competition and lots more.

The founder of the foundation, Barr. Abdulkareem Yinus Abiola who chaired the social event also doled out cash prizes and gift items to kids in attendance.

The event attended by dignitaries also witnessed award of scholarship.

Barr Abdulkareem Abiola said the event was to add live to the community and assist to improve lives as the government cannot do it all alone.

He said he was impressed by the courageous act and zeal exhibited by the children during the competitions, noting that such traits if channeled into the right direction and with right counsel will put some things right in the society and build the right values in our society.

He admonished the kids never to give up but keep trying no matter what they go through in life.

He said, “Even though you are young and would not really understand what I am saying, I want you all to see this as a lesson that no matter what you are going through in life, you shouldn’t give up on the first try but always keep on trying until you finally achieve your aim.”

Barr Abdulkareem Abiola also declared the 2022 Agenda for the Jagunlabi foundation.

This includes Scholarship, Borrowing scheme to alleviate poverty, General Enlightenment, Health insurance and Education Trust Fund.

Among the dignitaries present was the father of the founder Alhaji Olajide Abdulkareem, Lead Generation Initiative team led by Kemi Oni, Hon Ishaq Ahmod, and Prince Goke Afolayan among others.
