Ismaila Uba Misilli: A Well Deserved Elevation!

Ismaila Uba Misilli: A Well Deserved Elevation!

By Oyewale Oyelola

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya is an astute administrator with track record of successfully managing his private business. Governor Inuwa Yahaya is the kind of leader that motivates, inspires, encourages and overall reward dedication to service.

It’s therefore not surprising when he elevated Ismaila Uba Misilli to the position of Director General, Press Affairs from Senior Special Assistant Media & Publicity. The governor also approved the promotion of other Media Aides from Special Assistants to Senior Special Assistants.

What a good way to start 2021 and another special way of saying ‘Thank You’ to dedicated Media Handlers.

My boss, Ismaila Uba Misilli in the last 20 months has deployed his media arsenal to promote Governor Inuwa Yahaya and his administration as well as APC government.

His professionalism, maturity, calmness and meekness in discharging his duties created good image for Governor Inuwa Yahaya administration. He has used his proactiveness has silenced the opposition and detractors of Governor Inuwa Yahaya. I can count the numbers of rejoinders he has issued from May 2019 till date.

The DG Press Affairs is not a user but a team player, no wonder his colleagues at National Assembly honoured and celebrated recently.

He is a cosmopolitan person and rewards value contributions like his principal. Despite our daily conversations on WhatsApp, he still spends time with me on phone to say ‘thank you, well done, we value your inputs’.

I appreciate your consistent support. It’s a privilege to be part of your team. I pray the Almighty God increase your greatness sir.

Congratulations once again!
