International Women’s Day: My Administration Worked With Nigeria’s Brightest Women Says President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday said his administration worked with Nigeria’s brightest women and he is proud of the feat.

In a statement issued on Tuesday to commemorate International Women’s Day (IWD) 2023, Buhari said his administration has prioritised women’s and girls’ empowerment through innovation and digital skills.

Speaking on the 2023 theme of the day, ‘DigitALL: innovation and technology for gender equality’, Buhari said women in leadership positions have contributed significantly to the development of the country through hard work and determination.

The International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8 annually.
