In commemoration of the International Day of Conscience with the theme “Building a Culture of Peace,” Nigerians have been enjoined to adopt the culture of peace to aid the growth and development of the country.
The International Day of Conscience is a global day of awareness celebrated on April 5, commemorating the importance of human conscience. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly with this year theme as “Building a Culture of Peace”
While speaking with RoyalFM correspondent Opeyemi Akeredolu, the Director of Conscientious Youth Foundation in Kwara state, Comrade George Oyeyiola urged Nigeria Youth to embrace the culture of peace; adding that fear and lack of determination have distracted the youths.
He further encouraged the youth to leave ethnicity aside by coming together as a nation to embrace peace. He added that youth should be fearless and determined in whatever they set out to achieve.
