Interim Management Committee postpones Rivers United tie against WIkki Tourists

The Nigeria Premier Football League match day 15 and 16 fixtures involving Rivers United have been postponed by the Interim Management Committee (IMC).

The Pride of Rivers is billed to take on Wikki Tourist in Bauchi on Sunday but the game has been moved to a later date because of their involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Rivers United will face Young Africans of Tanzania at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Sunday in the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup quarter-finals.

Rivers United’s request for postponement was granted by the IMC to allow the NPFL champions prepare for their CAF Confederation Cup.
