It was gathered that the abduction reportedly  took place around 7pm on the 9th of November 2022 when  three victims  a young woman, one elderly woman, and a young boy were reportedly taken to the bush.
A short gun was reportedly pointed at the victims while onboard the tricycle before they were said to have  taken been  to an unknown destination where they were reportedly  tortured.
As reported by Royal FM  correspondent, Olarotimi Oshin,  one of the victims  Mrs Abulatif Ramat  who narrated  her ordeal said she boarded the Keke Napep from Oja Oba en route Lanre Gada, Ilorin.
Meanwhile , Assistant Commandant of the Corps in Kwara state, Makinde Yusuf said men of the civil Defence were able to rescue the victims. He said a brand new motorcycle  use for operations by the suspects was recovered at the bush.
Yusuf said the rescue was possible following surveillance and information received even as he  warned residents to be vigilant and security conscious when in a commercial vehicle.
