The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Kwara State, North Central Nigeria will today (Tuesday) issue Certificates of Return to all winners of the governorship and House of Assembly elections held on March 18 in the state.
Those concerned are the State Governor-Elect, Mallam AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq, who is also the incumbent governor and his deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi and all the house of Assembly members-elect.
The twenty four Lawmakers- elect comprise of twenty three APC members and one PDP member who will be forming the tenth assembly.
The State Public Affairs and Protocol Officer of the Commisssion, Abdulkadir Bolaji Ibrahim told Voice of Nigeria in Ilorin that the event will be presided over by the National Commissioner supervising Kogi, Kwara and Niger States, Professor Sani Mohammed Adam. (SAN).
The ceremony will hold in the INEC Collation Center at the commission’s headquarters, Ilorin and will commence by two o’clock in the afternoon.
